Its in-house clinic runs 24 hours a day to ensure that immediate attention will be given to emergencies.
Vetklinikum is conceptualized as a referral clinic oriented towards the future, fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology, and manned by highly trained specialists. This combination gives a guarantee for superior veterinary care and the highest level of training and education for young veterinary professionals. The clinic has a modern surgical center that allows for the performance of the following services: orthopedic, soft tissue, oncologic, and neurosurgical interventions. There are multiple dental surgeries available for dental procedures.
The imaging diagnostics include the clinic's digital X-ray, fluoroscopy using C-arms, ultrasound and echocardiography, sectional diagnostics by CT and MRI, and endoscopy. An in-house, fully comprehensive laboratory further underlines strong diagnostic capability.
Vetklinikum has 17 outpatient clinics, six of which are exclusively for cats. In the spacious ward, three dog and two cat stables are available, in addition to a pet stable, so that more than 50 patients can be admitted at one time. Special treatment rooms are available for intensive care patients. A separate isolation station provides three individual stables for dogs and cats isolation to avoid contagion effects.
Vetklinikum patients are looked after throughout the day by a veterinarian, with a 24-hour emergency service in place for those unexpected problems and emergencies. This will ensure that pets receive continuous and comprehensive care.
In addition to the veterinary clinic, Vetklinikum also runs a large and modern training and education facility. This facility provides the technology of the clinic and specialist expertise for young and experienced veterinarians, students, and those from a variety of fields within veterinary medicine. The project on training and education concentrates on the supply of veterinary medicine at the leading edge of present knowledge to assure patients receive treatment in the best possible manner now and in the future.
