Galeria Raquel Arnaud, founded in 1973, is one of the well-known galleries in São Paulo, Brazil. It began as "Gabinete de Arte" and played a leading role in the development and diffusion of contemporary Brazilian art. Among the most outstanding events of this gallery were some important changes of address and some cooperation with famous architects, Lina Bo Bardi and Ruy Ohtake.

Galeria Raquel Arnaud is reputed both in the country and abroad for its focus on geometric abstraction and current formats of contemporary art, such as constructivist art, kinetics, installations, sculptures, and paintings. The gallery has a diversified representation of renowned artists, including Waltercio Caldas, Carlos Cruz-Diez, Arthur Luiz Piza, Sérvulo Esmeraldo, among others, and new talent like Frida Baranek and Geórgia Kyriakakis.

The founder, Raquel Arnaud, began her art career in the late 1960s and worked with such people as Lasar Segall and Pietro Maria Bardi at MASP. She had previously been involved in heading the Galeria Arte Global and opening the "Gabinete de Arte," working with Geometric Abstraction. In 2011, the gallery was renamed as "Galeria Raquel Arnaud," always changing and increasing its influence in the art world. Arnaud is also known to establish the Instituto de Arte Contemporânea, the Institute of Contemporary Art, in 1997 for the cataloging of artists' documents in Brazil.

With a commitment to excellence and deep relations with artists and public communities, Galeria Raquel Arnaud continues to be one of the cornerstones of the contemporary art scene in Brazil.
