About Beijing GuanShang Animal Hospital

Beijing GuanShang Animal Hospital, founded in 1992, is one of the largest first-class veterinary clinics nationwide. Also, it's the first three-certified pet hospital in Beijing, and the first 5A full-service pet hospital in China to pass through ISO 9000 certification. The hospital has an area of more than 1,000 square meters, is rich in medical facilities and continuously developing its services, which have been extended to provide outpatient services, a fully treated room, a laboratory, radiology diagnosis, a drugstore, sterilized surgery room, besides grooming services. The company has over 70% of veterinarians who hold a master's degree or above in specializations such as internal medicine, surgery, dermatology, dentistry, emergency and critical care, traditional Chinese veterinary medicine, and the care of exotic pets.

Beijing GuanShang Animal Hospital is famous for its 24-hour emergency service. It is the first in Beijing to provide 24-hour care, including ICU services. Experienced veterinarians conduct emergency consultations that guarantee quality medical attention for pets at any hour of the year.

It also leads the way in dialysis treatments for animals, initiating peritoneal dialysis in 2011 and hemodialysis in 2016. In 2019, the dialysis arm was further developed with a blood purification and dialysis room in which continuous hemofiltration, bilirubin adsorption, immunoadsorption, and plasma exchange advanced treatments are offered. These are very important supportive therapies for animals with serious kidney disorders and multi-organ failure.

In addition, Beijing GuanShang Animal Hospital introduced laser lithotripsy technology, whereby the laser, with its strong destructive power, acts on the calculi of the urine in such a way that they are then reduced to very small particles capable of coming out smoothly from the bladder or urethra. This innovative technique reduces the risk of surgical complications, thus minimizing trauma and infection for pets in treatment.
